My beautiful friend Sally had a heart of gold. She was always so positive - a true eternal optimist. I will miss her friendship and her laughter. I am so grateful for the time spent with her and Doug and to have had her in my life. Sally was kind, compassionate, and always so supportive. I will carry her pearls of wisdom with me always. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and would share stories of their accomplishments with me while beaming. Thank you Doug for being there for my friend - you brought her so much joy. Sally, we became friends so quickly. It is rare to meet a person at our age and connect so quick . First we were neighbors at South Osborne Place ,just down the hall. We were the newbies in the co op. we found out we had a lot in common, CUPE sisters, both worked in civic offices Barely here and we both decided to take the plunge and join Board of Directors for our co op. Through Covid, zoom mtgs, till just a short time ago, we managed, maintained and enjoyed the challenges that came with the "job". we got a lot accomplished and more to come. I will try and continue to fulfill our vision for our co op. Learnt a lot from you and will miss our meetings, but mostly will miss our spontaneous chats, just miss you period. I am so gals that we met this last few years when you were feeling so much better. Thanks for introducing me to Doug as well!.. you to were perfect for each other, great couple, great friends I will mostly miss your laugh! You are now at peace.......see later...Sista Margarette and Robert, you have my deepest sympathy. Doug, thank you for loving Sally. Margaret {Meg} Feliksiak Neighbor, friend South Osborne Place

Such a great picture of my beautiful sister!! I can hear her laughing and gently persuading all to join her. For Margaret and Robert, remember only the good times with a smile and a full heart. I am sure your children also gave great memories of Grandma Sally. I am so happy that she was able to travel and take full advantage of life’s offerings this past 10 years. Doug, you are the very person she needed to share these last years with. Please know that even across all the miles I could see her love for you. So, goodbye dear sis….❤️❤️❤️
