Very sad to hear of his passing. Pete or 'Goober' as a lot of his passed on trucking buddies knew him, is certainly having coffee with them at the big truck- stop above. My condolences to his family. He was a great trucker.

Pete wasn't my uncle but he should of been! Us kids called him 'Uncle Pete' anyways! Pete's sense of humour & jovial personality were always a hoot to anyone who knew him. Pete was a wonderful soul to all who came in contact with him. Pete was a straight forward kinda guy & I loved that about him. He had no pretense, no phoniness, no airs about him. Don't ask him for the truth if u didn't want to hear it-Pete called it as he saw it! He will be missed by a whole lot of people & I'm one of them.Rest peacefully in that great highway tractor in the sky Uncle Pete! God Bless you Uncle Pete & God Bless your family.
