It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Hunter (Fukala).
Pat was born on March 17, 1950 in Nelson BC. She called this place home for many years. It was here in 1966 that she met a boy; he ended up being her husband for over 54 years, together they raised 2 daughters. They moved to Cranbrook BC, in the early 90s and most recently resided in Winnipeg MB.
Pat’s brief but ferocious battle with cancer ended on September 30, 2023. Left to mourn is her loving husband Neil, her 2 daughters, Nancy and Kathy, 3 grandchildren, Jamie, Brooke and Joey, 3 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Thomas, and Cylas, her siblings Jan and Charlie, as well as many family and friends.
Pat’s zest for life and her love of family was larger than life, she will live on forever in all of us.
Love you to the moon and back. You will forever be in our hearts.
