So sad to read of Marilyn's passing. We met as colleagues in the provincial government and became friends. I will miss our long telephone conversations and lunch dates where no topic was off the table - former co-workers, friends, books, politics, travel and most-of-all family. We loved talking about our grandchildren and their latest exploits.

I am so sad to say farewell to my very good friend, Marilyn. We met when she started 1st year university in 1968 and I was in my 2nd year. Our lifelong friendship was a huge gift to me and I have so many great memories. We had many adventures together. Marilyn was always there for me through life’s ups and downs. A great and very dear friend.
