Gil had a great sense of humour and a quiet thoughtful wisdom. Always willing to lend a hand. We have wonderful memories of Gil from our summers at Ponemah. Our deepest condolences to Carol and Rae.

I worked at Victoria Lifeline for many years and I always enjoyed my chats and laughs with Gil when he was volunteering. Please accept my deepest condolences. Nancy

Dear Carol, Rae and Jonathan, We are so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Gil. Willow Island will not be the same without his smiley face and jovial presence. For us, it was a rite of spring to see Gil on the beach, walking the road or cruising the island with his truck. We will remember him for his wry sense of humour and the fact that after talking to Gil you always came away a happier person. Gil will certainly be missed. Our thoughts are with you. Our deepest condolences to Carol and family on the sudden passing of Gill Both Barb and I will miss him dearly. He was one of the kindest most gentle souls we have ever met. His infectious smile and laugh will never be forgotten
