It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gilbert Lamothe beloved husband and loving father on February 27, 2021 at the Grace Hospital.
He leaves to mourn his wife Carolyn, daughter Rae and son-in-law Jonathan, siblings, Clem, Andy, Aline, and many nieces and nephews.
Gil started his career in commercial diving by opening his first business Divers Den and then Dominion Divers.
Gil enjoyed many years at his cottage in Gimli making many lifelong friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Harvey Lee along with the staff at the Grace Hospital.
The family will hold a private family funeral to mark his passing.
