March 27, 1954 – February 11, 2019
After a lengthy illness, Joan passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 64. Left to mourn her passing are her sisters Maureen MacDonald of Winnipeg and Barb Spisich of Mississauga, ON. She was predeceased by her mother Elna MacDonald (Johnson) and father John MacDonald.
Joan was born in Winnipeg on March 27, 1954. She taught Home Economics for many years, most recently at Gordon Bell High School in Winnipeg. Joan loved animals and had pets her whole life.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to Cancer Care Manitoba.
