Mr. Down Town Brown - Mr. Is a term Jerry deserved. Always treated everybody the same! New Jerry from Lyman Tube, Standard, Copperweld, Welded Tube, and finally Brunswick Steel. I was retired but came back to work for him. A straight shooter from the first to the last word. I had so much respect for him that I gave him more money than was on a contract because he was losing money (partnership). The look in his eyes told the story: life is oh so short and the bucket list is never finished. I always did the things I wanted. I do not sweat the little things in life, don’t let worry steal your joy in life, don’t left fear steal your happiness, and above all, never let negativity steal your dreams in life. Remember the moment we start to act like our life is a blessing will be the moment our life will start to be one. Catch you on the other side my friend. -Dallas and Gale Oleschuk

Our sincere condolences Marylyn to you and the family. Jerry was instrumental in my success in the steel industry and I gained much knowledge "working for him at Lyman Tube", "working with him at Copperweld" and "working against him at Brunswick Steel"......the full meal deal. Tough but always fair and would help you navigate both professionally and personally when called upon, Jerry, you are now back with your closest colleagues John, Glenn, Borden and Ray.......and will always remember....mark your score at the next tee box ahole....not by the green...lol Our thoughts and prayers to the family Dave, June and Jenna

All though Jerry and I seldom saw eye to eye on things he had a huge heart and would do what he could to help people, he will be missed by all and especially his wife Marylyn (my sister). RIP Jerry Bob Palmer
