JENS HELGE LARSEN
Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, it is with deep sadness that Jens, aged 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark but lived the majority of his life in Winnipeg.
Left to mourn Jens’ passing are his brothers Peter, Norman and Adam as well as a host of friends and colleagues. Of special note are Jim, Casey, Randy and Beth, Serge and Chrissy and the Hendersons. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Esther and Helge.
Jens’ special passion was cadets. First as a Sea Cadet in RCSCC Crusader, then as a Navy League Officer in both Winnipeg and Selkirk. He also loved to hunt and fish.
A private service will be held.
