I was fortunate to have visited with Isabel a week before her passing. She was thoughtful and asked about many friends from St Paul the Apostle. Visiting with her was a delight. She said “We always find lots to talk about”. The chosen readings and music at her funeral and the reception that followed were truly a wonderful celebration of her.

Dear Karen and Family, I’m so sorry to hear of Isabel’s passing. She and Bill were such welcoming parishioners at St Paul’s. I remember her playing piano at a Mother’s Day tea and when I was helping to move items for a draw her song book was on a table but I didn’t know it was hers. I opened it and saw her pages which were just the name or title of a dittie and she played so beautifully all by heart!! I’m sorry that I cannot attend on The 29th. You and the family will be in my prayers.

I just wanted to reach out, my name is Claire. I was Isabel's companion and we grew very close during our time together. She offered incredible insight and advice and our visits were filled with much laughter, and sometimes tears. We bonded over the love we have for our families, and music. I played piano for her which was intimidating as i know what an incredible musician she was! I truly care deeply about her and I hope I was able to offer friendship and comfort to her. I am so grateful to have been able to know her. She is in my heart, as is the whole family which she adored more than anything. I know she is greatly missed. Sending all the best, Claire

Our son was in Mrs. Betz's Grade 1 class at Linwood School in the 1994-95 year. She instilled in him the joy of learning. She was a wonderful influence on our son and all the other students fortunate to be in her class. Our condolences to the family.

I met Isabel when I was visiting her as a companion with Comfort Keepers. We had so much fun and so many laughs together, she was truly a great friend. We had the same humor, so we were always making jokes. I will miss her dearly and treasure the time that I got to know her and spend time with her. RIP my dear friend
