ELSIE LEONTINA PHILLIPS (nee SAMILA) April 27, 1933 – November 12, 2014 In loving memory of Mrs. Elsie Phillips, widow of Alison Phillips. She leaves behind daughter Catherine Phillips; brothers David and Zenon Samila; many nieces and nephews and their children; and more friends than she knows. Elsie was a lover of history, geography and precise language, a bird-watcher and keeper of a garden, an avid reader and former librarian at Atlantic Garden City United Church. A woman of great intelligence, supremely organized and detail-oriented, Elsie worked hard and responsibly and sacrificed a great deal to take care of her parents while raising her own family. Information about a memorial service to be held in the new year will be made available.
