My condolences to the family. Sharel taught much as she struggled through her adversities. She is now at peace.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Sharel. I will miss her gentle spirit, and her quick wit. I loved her kindness and unconditional love and friendship. Although life was not always easy for Sharel, she was such a gifted person on so many levels. I learned so much from her, and enjoyed learning many things not just from the classes she taught, but from observing her work through her difficulties. My sincere and deep condolences to her children and family.

Hi Liana, I can’t tell you how sorry I am to hear about the passing of Sharel. I know she had a lot to struggle with and life doesn’t always give you what you want or need, but please find peace in the truth that she was a spiritual being and she is now free to live without compromise. I send my deepest sympathies to you and all your family and hope that you will heal from this devastating loss. Karen

The sum total of all the small things forgotten give us a picture of the essence of a person whose struggles often overshadowed her and could rob her of all the light and beauty that she had to share. In spite of that, the shear tour de force of my sisters spirit could still break through. The potential of her talents not fully realized but to those who knew her there was left a powerful imprint nonetheless. Through this memorial I know that each and everyone who was touched by my sister can find those small things and weave a beautiful tapestry which shows a woman of beauty and hope, of music and art, of laughter and compassion. We talk, we share photos, we reminisce and remember those small things that give us comfort. The beautiful tapestry that we have woven helps cover the space in our hearts. With love...Lili
