PETER DRABYK Peacefully, at Oak View Place Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, Peter passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015. Peter is survived by his wife, Olga; children, Norman, Beverly (Ross), Richard, Roger (Alexis), Teresa (Regan); and daughter-in-law Anita; five grandchildren, Kevin, Christine, Samantha, Cassidy, Lian; and one great grandchild, Evelyn. He was predeceased by his parents; siblings; and two sons, Arnold and Ronald. Born in the R.M. of Bifrost, Peter was raised on a farm North of Arborg. Upon leaving the farm, he did various jobs before settling in Winnipeg. He eventually settled at Dominion Bridge, where he worked for 25 years until his retirement. After retiring, on Saturday mornings, he could be found having coffee with his Dominion Bridge buddies. Crocheting, playing pool, and doing the crossword puzzles occupied Peter s spare time. He had his challenges in life. He was both a Polio and Prostate Cancer survivor. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, no service will be held.
