Dear Dave, My condolences to you and your family. My parents had good memories of Peggy and you from your time in Rivers, and my mother would often comment in recent years that she had "heard from the Halsteads." Take care. Colin Russell

Dear David and family: I am saddened to hear of the departure of Peggy. When you spoke with David you didn't have to wait long to hear about Peggy. They were both so important to each other. The best to all family members and all others who had the fortune of meeting Peggy.

Only recently got to know and appreciate this fine lady and great writer. We have her two book. She loved Moose Jaw and played a major role in the city activities. Moose Javians honor her for her many contributions. Garth and Eleanor Hampson, Ottawa
