MAUREEN APRIL DAWSON
(nee ELLIOTT)

Peacefully after a lengthy illness it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Maureen April Dawson (nee Elliott), on February 14, 2024 at the age of 81 at the Middlechurch Nursing Home, West St. Paul, MB.

Maureen was born in Beckenham, England on April 30, 1942 and moved with her family to Winnipeg at a young age. She was raised in Winnipeg where she enjoyed figure skating and pursued careers in hairdressing and medical administration before getting married and raising her loving family.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Kathleen; children, Stephen Kletke (Kathleen), Richard Kletke (John); grandchildren, Liam and Ella; sister Lynda Lillies (Glenn); sister-in-law Wendy Elliott; loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Maureen was predeceased by her father Henry and brother Phillip Elliott.

As per Maureen’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service with immediate family held at Christ Church Anglican in Stony Mountain, MB.
