Oh my gosh. My sympathy to the family. I am so glad to have known her. I met her in school. grade 6 or 7. Not sure why was I drawn to her. She was always happy despite the hardship of polio. I learnt a lot from her, always happy. Never upset over her condition. She was so excited when she came over to my place or when I went over to her place. I moved to Toronto to finish high school. When I returned to Beausejour, I called her. She came down for a visit. I walked her half way home. If I would not have walked her home, I would not have met my future husband. I spoke to her about a year ago and it was like we were never apart. One thing I remember about her is that when she was happy or excited she would tap you with her cane. It always hurt.
