Ken was in all my classes from kindergarten to grade 7. He was the best soccer player in our school, Lord Roberts, and one of the best natural athletes I have ever known. I had no idea he was as smart as he later proved to be - he was just one of the best kids I ever had the opportunity to know. It is sad that Ken passed away at such an early age when he had so much to offer. I will always remember his smile.

It is with extreme sadness that I learned today of Ken's passing. I met Ken many years ago at the Wildewood and (now) Taylor tennis clubs. We enjoyed many years of play together and social evenings. I last saw Ken while out on a bike ride to the Forks. He had retired and was out with his camera looking for foto ops. I shall miss not seeing him again.

I still have an action photo of Ken at 10 years old, swirling around while handling the puck on the old outdoor rink on the river bank. Ken was the star of our River Park pee-wee hockey team at that time. But what I miss most was more recent - the occasional times when I would bump into Ken downtown, and our brief talks about records and music. I remember Ken describing the enjoyment he would get from visualising scenery while listening to classical music. I kept hoping that I would bump into him again. I've always had the greatest respect for Ken, and am very sorry that he is gone.

Prof Dennis was instrumental in me choosing to get my undergraduate Arts degree in Economics. Had him for 3 or 4 courses over my degree and enjoyed his ability to teach and convey the concepts. My Sympathies to the family.
