Our beloved uncle Kemal left us far too soon, carrying with him a legacy woven from creativity, wisdom, sensibility, and generosity. He moved through the world with a heart full of devotion, meeting every person with warmth, sincerity, and an instinctive kindness that made you feel seen and valued. To me, Kemal was more than an uncle—he was an idol, someone I admired deeply and looked up to throughout my life. He was a mentor whose presence made every space feel like home. Around him, we felt safe, happy, and wrapped in a quiet warmth that only he could create. Kemal had hands that could fix anything, but more importantly, a spirit that could lift anyone. Some of our happiest memories live in the cold waters of the Bosnia River, where swimming beside him felt effortless. Even in the chill, he made our hearts warm and full of joy. Those moments became our shared motto: “Do as Kemal.” Live with his courage, his generosity, his calm strength. He is forever in our hearts. We will cherish every moment spent with him—the laughter, the lessons, the comfort of his presence. The brightest star in our lives, Kemal continues to guide us with the light he left behind. May his memory be a blessing, today and always
