JOSEPH MICHAEL TERRY

It is with heartbreak and sadness the family of Joseph Michael Terry announce his passing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at his home at the age of 51.

Joseph Michael Terry was born in the Brandon General Hospital on December 16, 1074 at 9:00 p.m. weighing in at 7pounds 14 ounces and 19 inches long. We lived there for a year then moved to Calagary, Alberta for a year. We moved back to Manitoba to Illes de Chenes for a few months in a trailer home. Aftre that we moved to the west end of Ness Avenue in 1996. In October of 1977we moved into 322 Parkview Street home.

When Joseph was a child, he loved to play with Lego for hours at a time. His best friends were Mark Strapco and Gerald Enns. He also loved my home-made buttermilk pancakes.
Joey started school in the old Britannia building and continued into Stevenson-Britannia. He then attended St. James Collegiate to grade 9. He fell in love with Gayle and they married July 15, 2000. They had four children. Joey drove truck for a living.

Joey had a life-changing accident, nearly losing his arm. After surgery and physio, his arm was there, however, not godd enough to do much with which meant her couldn’t drive anymore. Life was a struggle and he stayed home for some time. He then decided to find a place of his own. Very little places to be had. Rooming houses were the only answer.

He will be forever remembered and missed.
