**In Loving Memory of Helena Roszkowska**
*July 26, 1928 – November 16, 2024*

Helena Roszkowska, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, at the age of 96.

Helena is survived by her children Ryszard (Jadwiga); Grazyna (Eugeniusz); Bozena (Jan); as well as her grandchildren Pawel (Julia); Maciej; Chris; Paul; Kamila (Nicholas); and her great
grandchildren Dominik, Evalina and Isabella.

Helena was born Helena Lopinska in Porosl-Wojslawy, Poland on July 26, 1928. She was the youngest of 7 children. Helena’s early years were shaped by extraordinary challenges. She lived
through the harrowing years of World War II and the hardships of post-war Poland. Despite the turmoil and adversity around her, she built a home filled with warmth and unwavering devotion to her 3 children.

Helena lived her first 55 years of life in Poland. In 1983, she courageously immigrated to Canada, joining her children to seek a better life with greater opportunities that Poland could not
offer at the time. Her journey reflected her deep commitment to her family’s future, a commitment she carried with her every day.

Helena was a pillar of strength and kindness. She was instrumental in helping raise her grandchildren, delighting in watching them grow and flourish. She wanted the best for everyone.
She lived a life marked by resilience, love, and selflessness.

We will forever treasure the memories of the love she brought into our lives.

A traditional Polish Catholic Funeral Mass will take place on November 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Parish, 342 Pritchard Ave with Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main St.
