FERN JENNIE SMORANG (NEE MCLEOD)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fern Smorang on January 27. She passed away peacefully at Grace hospital with family by her side. Fern was predeceased by her husband Carl, parents Gordon and Jennie, her sisters Clara and Beryl and nephew Gordon. She will be lovingly missed by her son Barclay (Lisa) and Granddaughter Annika, sisters Gordiena (Gregg), Betty Ann (Richard), Sandra, Sister-in-law Delores, Brother-in-law Ken, many nieces and nephews, and her closest friend Eleanor.

Thank you to the staff at Calvary place for the excellent care they have given Fern. Also thank you to the staff at the Grace hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 2pm at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive.
