While serving with Ernie, in Belgium, in early 1945, we both signed a 10 lire note, along with Len Caldwell and Tommy Thompson, to commemorate our time together. Then in early 2003, we got together again, after almost 60 years, to reminisce. I even brought along the 10 lire note. I salute My FALLEN COMRAD.

From HelenIt is difficult to describe how it feels to loose your little brother I truly did not think that I would see this day. My brother was so vibrant and alive - bigger than life, in truth. I remember so well our times together. When both families lived in Europe (the Ricketts in Zweibruken, the Mulcahys in Metz) we visited each other often. Terry and Ern were full of stories, to say nothing of the hyjinks that seemed to be the lifeblood of anyone in the military. Ern could tell a good story, and often did! He was very proud to have been in the ServicesWell I know that he would not have wanted a prolonged illness, nor to live in a nursing home. He is free of both now. God bless him and may he rest in peace.
