Cyril James Pollitt
December 29, 1941 ~ January 24, 2025

It is with regret to announce the passing of Cyril James Pollitt at the Health Sciences Centre on January 24, 2025.

Cyril is survived by his loving wife Joyce, of 35 years. He is the father of David Pollitt (Christine) and Grandson Ethan of Riverside, CA. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Ellen Pollitt.

Cyril was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan and was later educated in Brandon, Manitoba where he spent his early years making life-long friends. Throughout the years he enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips with this group.

His interest in travel took him to many parts of the world to include each Canadian Province and all of the U.S.A. States, Europe, Mexico, Costa Rica, Caribbean Islands, Panama and New Zealand. His wish was to explore Australlia. Cyril repected and marvelled at nature, animals and the environment. Bird watching was a passion.

Cyril served over 25 years of his career with the Canada Customs Agency, retiring in 1995 as Chief of Operations at the Winnipeg International Airport.

A man of many talents,
he will be truly missed.
