I never knew my mother too well, she passed away two weeks after my eighth birthday, but me and my father are learning to cope with the anger and devastation this has caused us, this death didn’t just separate me from my mother, it separated me from my family as well. I’ve learned to deal with being a only child of a single parent, and I’m 16 now but I have lots of questions about my mothers side, and I definitely have more questions then answers, sometimes I think that that’s all life is going to give me, but then I think of my mom, and I remind myself that everyday is worth living and you have to make everyday count whether you know the family secrets or not.... I love you mom, I miss you, -Shelly
