CHARLES ERNEST LAING
January 2, 1927 – December 20, 2023

Peacefully and surrounded by his children, Ernie passed away on December 20. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years Trudy. He is survived by his children Keith, Tim (Karen), Mari-Lee (Peter), Brian, his thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as many family members and friends.

A celebration of Ernie’s life will take place on January 12, 2024, at Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Breast Cancer Society.
