Peacefully after a brief illness our Mom, Carol Phillips, passed away.
Left to forever cherish her vibrant personality are her children Tanis(Leo), Gregg(Aneta), Cara (late husband Tim), and her bonus daughter Lisa (Albert).
Grandchildren Stacy(Joe), Melissa(Phil), Bernard, Mikyla(Cameron) as well as her beloved great grand children, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mom was predeased by her husband Jimmy, sisters Glenda Crawford and Janet Summers and her parents Bill and Dorothy Ceretti.
Mom worked at Hartford Medical with several Physicians before working for Residential Tenancy Branch with the Province of Manitoba until she retired.
After 58 years of residing in Willow Park, a strong valued community of family and life long friends (Peggy and Michele), Mom moved into Bergen Gardens Assisted Living. Mom found a new community that she fondly called her Bergen Family.
Mom recently celebrated her 88th birthday with a party at Bergen Gardens surrounded by family and friends.
Mom was also blessed with very special cousins who were just like her sisters, Eleanor, Maryanne and Lynn.
Mom loved knitting and was known to share her Tweedle muffs with anyone needing one for support or comfort. Mom was an avid sports fan which came from her father Bill Ceretti who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
A Celebration of Life will be held April 25, 2026 at the Buchanan Community Club at 861Buchanan Blvd from 1:00-3:30 PM.
Our family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Derkeson, Dr. Tim, Dr. Fisher, nurse and aides at HSC. The care they provided our mom was outstanding.
