LEONA CLAEYS

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Leona Claeys. Leona was predeceased by her father Raymond Claeys.

She will be missed by her love Jamie, mother Josephine, only sister & brother-in-law, Sherry Anne & Abby (Brook, Logan & Peyton), brothers Raymond (Chantel, Cayla & Malaka), Paul (Keegan, Dylan & Lindan), James (Isabella, Damian & Winter), Mike & many uncles, aunts, cousins & friends. She was someone’s daughter, sister, Auntie & friend.

Leona passed away at the age of 48 at St. Boniface Hospital with family and friends by her side.

Leona will be truly missed for her vibrant energy, her bright smile, her contagoius laugh and her inner and outside beauty! Leona was the life of every and any party. She had numerous amounts of friends and many family members who truly loved and cared for her. Leona also loved her animals, she loved her family and would do anything for anyone or anything to make sure they were taken care of!

She loved to dance, listen to music, make others laugh and was always kind and generous to all.

Leona knew Jesus as her Saviour and there will be a viewing at 10:30 a.m. and services will be at 11:30 a.m. taking place on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Wojcik’s Chapel of Memories, 1020 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba .
